Sample audio files of my music. Use the quicktime player to listen.
Pretty One (Download)
I overdubbed myself playing dobro, guitar, and bass to create this "western" piece for a mountain television station.

Collaboration.mp3 (Download)
I made this together with Bernadette Yao for our Pro Tools course.

Tomorrow (Download)
This song was created with Reason 3.0 using samples from the musical Annie.

Blues for a Reason (Download)
I also made this one with Reason 3.0. It's supposed to sound like it wasn't made entirely with a computer.

Yaniv, babe, it's Liz (Download)
I overdubbed my guitar over a beat that I made on my computer. Then I added clips of a phone message off my answering machine. This was a fun one.

Jammin (Download)
This is a picture of me playing with my bluegrass band up in the mountains.

I write, perform, and teach music. I have been spending more time trying to record and produce. I studied music formally at the University of Colorado at Boulder and at Metro State in Denver. I have loved my studies at Berklee's online school, and I feel like gotten to learn exactly what I have wanted to learn about for a long time.

Q:Do you have your own website?
A:I do. The address is www.cyberyaniv.com

Q:What do you do as far as live performance?
A:I perform with a motown group called Juicebox and a jazz group called the Wapiti Jazz Project. I also play Jewish music with a woman named Julie Geller.

Q:Do you work in music education?
A:I teach private lessons on guitar and piano.

Q:What is you recording and production experience?
A:I produced some cues for a television station to accompany their programing. I have recorded and produced cd's for various bands over the years with everything from a 4-track cassette recorder to Pro Tools.

Q:What are your goals in music?
A:I would like to pursue the recording side of the industry and eventually work full time in production. I always want to teach music and play live, but the recording and production side of the industry is where I eventually see myself.

Q:What are you studying at Berklee?
A:I completed a professional certificate in studio production which focused on Reason and Pro Tools.
