David Gonzalez is currently a Film Scoring Major at Berklee College of Music in his eighth and final semester. He is currently in the process of working on several projects in the near future, including a feature length film (currently untitled) from a local film student. Other upcoming projects include "The Sampler Girl," and "The Salt House," both productions of Of The Lake Productions, directed by Sharlene B. DuLac, the director of a popular short called "The Winter Men," also scored by David. David also has written several string arrangements for the Radio Knights, a Boston band and by doing that has been commissioned to write string arrangements for the band Fly Upright Kite, and for Casey Pukl. David's energy and his passion for film scoring and love of music feeds him the vigor that allows him to be as busy as he is. He wishes to devote everything he does to his family and friends, you know who you are.

Q:Tell us about your act, music style, and brief history. A:I'm a Film Scoring major at Berklee College of Music and have written several student film scores and just finished working on a professional independant film, "The Winter Men," and have been hired to work with the same team, Of The Lake Productions, again for their next project.
I'm also in a band, "The Radio Knights" (www.myspace.com/theradioknights) and we've been playing at local venues since November 2005 and are gradually gaining a large fan base in Boston.
Q:What have been some important gigs or venues you've played? A:All Asia, Bulfinch Yacht Club, The Middle East Upstairs and Downstairs, O'Brien's Pub, The Radio Bean (in Burlington, VT) - all Performed with the Radio Knights.
My Film Scoring Projects include, The Winter Men, Smithee's Lecture, Becoming, The Virtuoso, and several projects in the future.
Q:What was the best experience, working, you've ever had? A:My best experience was recording the score to the Winter Men. For this score we had 14 people come to "The Nest," Albatross's Recording Studios and for 5 hours we recorded the score. It was my first time conducting a real orchestra and it was the most exciting moment of my life.
Q:What are you working on now? A:I am currently doing student films, independent films, and working on getting my film scoring degree from Berklee completed.
Q:What kind of people or opportunities are you hoping to find on Berkleemusic? A:I'm hoping that people will come here and find my music and want to hire me for their next project!
