Q:What does your business do? Provide a history and brief description of your products and services.
A:I have a Protools production facility in Memphis, Tn. I provide a recording service for local groups and artists.

Q:How did you get started in your business?
A:I have the deepest passion for what I do. I started selling and installing professional sound systems for a local pro-audio company here in Memphis in 1985. Since then I have been freelancing as an engineer here in Memphis. I started out with analog recording and made the transition to digital in 1998. I still use both formats in my studio.

Q:What is the experience or education of the staff?
A:I studied recording engineering at Middle Tennessee State University from 1981-83. I was program director for a small radio station from 1983-85. Pro-Audio installer/sales/consultant from 1985-86. Built several recording studios in the Memphis area from 1987-91 that were designed by Tom Hiddley. Also write and transpose scores for various artists and myself.

Q:Describe your business equipment or setup. If you have a sound studio, what equipment do you use?
A:I run a Protools Le system/32 track/Digi 001. Yamaha O1V digital mixer/Tascam DA-40/ART Pro Channel/ART Pro VLA/Line 6 Guitar Pro Modeler/ Bass Pod/ TC Electronics Finalizer/TCElectronics Triple C/Aphex Tubessence Mic pre/ Behringer 8024 digital EQ/ Alesis QS 6.1/ Mac G4 Tower ext. drives/Logic Audio Platinum 6.1/ various guitars/bass and percussion instruments . Sennheiser MD-421's/ Shure SM-81's/Shure SM-57's/ Octava Mk-319 / JBL monitors

Q:Who are some of your clients?
A:Craig Hendrix Group/ Roadrunner/Ain't Yo Mama/Absolution/The "Politician"/Gypsy Various other local artists

Q:What are your prices or rates?
A:$35 per hour for standard recording and mastering. Add $15 per hour for arranging and composition. $50 per hour for each additional musician. Most of the time, I play all the instruments myself if the client can't afford outside musicians.
