Q:What are you working on now?
A:Writing arrangements of compositions by Astor Piazzolla, one of the greatest contemporary Argentinean musicians, to be performed with the "Orquesta Juvenil de la UNT" (Juvenile Orchestra of the National University of Tucumán). This will be a series of four concerts. Two will take place at the Teatro Alberdi, the second biggest auditorium of Tucumán, and the other two will be on tour to other cities of the province of Tucumán. I will also participate as assistant director, and as guest performer in four pieces, playing piano, fretless bass, guitar and singing. The dates for these concerts are on July 12, 13, 14 and 19.

Q:What have been some important gigs or venues you've played and/or been involved with?
A:I played piano, synth, acoustic fretless bass and percussion in several concerts with Adrian Abonizio, one of the most important and influential contemporary songwriters in Argentina. Many of his songs have been recorded and are regularly performed by Juan Carlos Baglietto, Latin Grammy Award winner. In July and August of 2003 I sang, played keyboards, guitar and percussion, arranged and conducted a string quartet, in two concerts with what could be called "Paul McCartney's Beatles' tunes" (i.e. For No One, Good Day Sunshine, Honey Pie, Eleanor Rigby, etc.). I have also been in-charge of the music supervision and general direction. These concerts have been part of the schedule at the "5to Julio Cultural Universitario" (5th Universitary Cultural July), an annual event organized and promoted by the Universidad Nacional de Tucuman (National University of Tucuman). In July of 2000 I wrote the arrangements and worked as Assistant Conductor and Musical Director for a concert with Latin Grammy Award Winners Juan Carlos Baglietto & Lito Vitale (photo), accompanied by the Orquesta Juvenil de la Universidad Nacional de Tucuman (Youth Orchestra of the National University of Tucuman).

Q:Tell us about your music style, and brief history.
A:I consider myself as an eclectic composer. I went to Berklee to study Jazz Composition not in order to learn how to write "authentic and pure jazz". I think it doesn't work that way because you can study a style of music, but you have to grow with it to make it happen spontaneously. It is like a guy from, let's say, Poland playing a "chacarera" (an Argentinean folk style). At Berklee I studied and learned how to use what I consider tools and techniques that enhanced my musical language. Now I apply all those tools and techniques combined with my ethnical and cultural background, to write my music. I think this can be appreciated on my six-movement solo piano suite, "Moods" which is available here in its complete version, and on "Ground Zero, NY" a piece I wrote in memory of the victims of the attack to the World Trade Center. I think it is necessary to put clear that some of the MP3 samples in this page are incidental music for theater, so they are intended to fill the needs of a certain situation or scene. In this case, the ones that more closely reflect what I could call my personal writing style are "Panthers" and "We Will Meet Again".

Performed singing and playing acoustic nylon-strings guitar and fretless bass, at the 1er Encuentro de Trovadores (1st Meeting of Troubadors), organized by the Museum of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (National University of Tucumán). The generic name of "Trovador" is applied in Latin America, to songwriters who compose and perform songs which do not follow the tendencies of the commercial music market. These songs usually rely on the fusion of folk and popular music, and often talk in a more poetic/literary and ellaborated language than the commercial songs do.
