Recast Records is engaged in the online promotion and distribution of all independent music artists, as well and the personal and business management of its client base artists in the music industry. Recast handles many of its core client base's business affairs including, but not limited to the following: helping with major career decisions, helping with the creative process of the artists, promotion of the artists' careers, assembling and heading the artists' peofessional team, coordinating concert tours, handeling monetary affairs, and generally acting as a buffer between the artists and the outside world.

Recast's distribution website, Music Sumo, will allow any independent music artist to sell their CD's online. This sight will also feature some of Recasts clients and Berklee College of Music students and alumni. This website will also further promote independent artists by Podcasting artists on a show on Apple's iTunes.

Q:What is your education and experience?
A:I have an undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music, Boston in Music Business/Entrepreneurship. While in school I was an intern at Heavy Rotation Records where I gained experience in many aspects of the music industry including artist management, promotion, publishing, and web design/maintenance. I also have experience in promtion, marketing, licensing, retail merchandising, customer service, and accounting working for Bill Graham Presents / Clear Channel Entertainment, Panic Entertainment Groupe, Cinder Block Merchandise, and Rasputin Records.
